Kunal Shah is a believer in the power of “FREE.” He is the founder of Freecharge.in, possibly the only original Indian e-commerce idea which was not inspired by a global player. Inspired by the idea of FREE, Kunal pioneered a model whereby customers recharge their mobiles, DTH and data cards online and are rewarded with equivalent value coupons, vouchers, offers and deals of the top retailers in the country.
Kunal wants to take this model and apply it to more than just mobile recharge. Why can’t everything sold online be virtually free? Kunal believes it most certainly can. Currently the CEO and founder of Freecharge.in, Kunal was previously the founder of PaisaBack, a mail-in rebate company, and the business head at TIS, a US-focused BPO for retailers. Kunal is proudly a drop-out of the NMIMS MBA program, and a graduate of Philosophy.
